Stolen Bases Academy

Stolen Bases Academy is a 10,000 square foot training facility located in Lombard, Illinois. The training facility includes 7 batting tunnels and 5 pitching mounds. Stolen Bases Academy is staffed with dedicated instructors with decades of baseball experience and knowledge. We offer individual training, group training, team training, camps in both baseball and softball.

Our Story

Sean and Maggie Bieterman purchased T's Academy in the spring of 2022. With their 17 year old son Casey, the Bieterman family has a long history in education and baseball. Sean has been an educator and administrator at several high schools in the Chicago-land area. As a coach, he has ammassed over 435 high school victories and has sent many players on to the collegiate and professional levels. Maggie has been an early childhood educator for over 20 years in the Elmwood Park School District. Their son Casey is currently a junior at Yorkville Christian High School and also plays on the baseball team that his dad coaches.

In 2022, Sean Bieterman, along with long time friend and coaching colleague Matt Mccain co-founded the Northern Illinois Stampede Baseball Program. The Stampede Program is a travel baseball program that provides quality baseball opportunities for kids in the western suburbs.

The Bieterman's made the decision in the winter of 2024 to change the name of T's Academy to Stolen Bases Academy in an effort to reach out to a larger group of student-athletes interested in pursuing baseball and softball training. As we continue to transition into this newer business model we look forward to continuing to service our community with great instruction.
